Big Salads, Derbyshire rib-eye steaks, fresh seafood and the best free range omelettes this side of the channel are just 'une tranche' of what we do!
A new wine list full of great wines by the glass and the friendliest service in Derbyshire make us a memorable lunch, dinner or just wine and nibbles!
We continue to be open 7 days a week from 11 till late and offer special 7 course Vegetarian evenings on the last Wednesday of each month. We also offer a fantastic deal on sunday nights with two mains from our specials board and a bottle of house wine for just £25!
As well as all of this we continue to offer our Little Mistral menu, our famous Le Roast and our party menus for large groups or businesses.
Who are we?
Opened in May 2005, Le Mistral in Wirksworth quickly established itself as a firm favourite with both locals and visitors to the area. Le Mistral is situated in a delightful period building literally in the heart of the town and serves freshly made French favourites supplemented by regularly changing special menu items created by Sam, Jarek and the rest of the kitchen team. Up to 62 people can be seated across two floors; either on the ground floor, which is perfect to watch life pass by through the large windows or in the more intimate surroundings of the original brick vaulted cellars. Wirksworth is working towards the status of a Fairtrade town and Le Mistral is proud to be part of this initiative with Fairtrade wines and teas available all year round. In addition to this we use only Derbyshire Beef, Pork and Lamb; free range eggs, seasonal salad and vegetables, supplemented by specialist items sourced directly from the Rungis Market in Paris.
